FOR GROWN-UPS
Privacy, kept simple.
This notice describes the current Desk-a-Pets website.
Email updates for adults
If you are 18 or older, you may enter your own email address and explicitly agree to receive Desk-a-Pets marketing emails about episodes, future freebies, and learning ideas. We transmit your email securely through our Vercel-hosted signup endpoint to Resend, our mailing-list provider, and add eligible addresses to our website updates segment. Resend stores the email address, contact creation time, segment membership, and subscription preference. We do not ask for names, birthdays, or children’s details.
Submitting this form does not send an email, verify ownership of an inbox, or deliver a freebie. Previously unsubscribed contacts remain unsubscribed. To manage that preference, use the preferences link in a previous email. You can unsubscribe from future marketing at any time using its unsubscribe link; we retain suppression information to respect that choice. For privacy or deletion requests, reply to a Desk-a-Pets email you have received. Please do not submit children’s personal information.
For abuse prevention, the signup endpoint briefly keeps a hashed network address and attempt count in server memory for up to ten minutes. We do not intentionally log your form contents. Our hosting and email service providers may retain operational records under their own policies.
No accounts or advertising trackers
This site does not offer accounts, comment sections, contact forms, or purchases. We do not ask children to submit personal information.
What happens when you visit?
The site is hosted on Vercel. Like other web hosts, Vercel may process technical request information, such as an IP address, browser details, requested page, and request time, to deliver the site and help keep it secure. See Vercel’s privacy policy for its practices.
Cookies and local storage
We have not added analytics, advertising scripts, tracking cookies, or local-storage identifiers. Character selections are kept only in the page’s temporary memory and disappear when you leave or reload. Fonts and artwork are served with the website rather than loaded from third-party services.
External social links
YouTube and Instagram links take you to third-party websites with their own privacy practices. This site does not embed their players or tracking scripts; their services are opened only when you follow a link.
